Cotton

Cotton is a soft, fluffy staple fiber that grows in a boll, or protective case, around the seeds of the cotton plants of the genus Gossypium in the family of Malvaceae. The fiber is almost pure cellulose. Under natural conditions, the cotton bolls will tend to increase the dispersal of the seeds.

  • Uses

Cotton can be dyed in many colours, washed easily, and ironed at high temperatures. It can also be used for other purposes besides clothing, such as rope, paper, cooking oil, animal feed, packaging, and biofuels

  • Quality

Our cotton is good because it offers quality and versatility to everyone.

Cotton Seed Oil

Cotton Seed Oil is a cooking oil extracted from the seeds of cotton plants of various species, mainly Gossypium hirsutum and Gossypium herbaceum, that are grown for cotton fiber, andimal feed and oil.

  • Uses

It is used for cooking, baking, frying and making salad dressings. It is also used by food manufacturers in the production of processed foods like cookies and potato chips.

  • Quality

Cottonseed oil quality depends on several factors, such as the type of seeds, the extraction method, the refining process and the storage conditions. We try to provide the best quality as posible.

Cotton Seed Cake

Cotton Seed Cake is a traditional cake flavoured with caraway or other flavourful seeds. Caraway seeds have been long used in British cookery, and at one time caraway-seed biscuits were prepared to mark the end of the sowing of the spring wheat. These particular biscuits later evolved into this distinctively flavoured tea cake.

  • Uses

Cottonseed cake is mainly used as an animal feed for cattle, sheep, goats and poultry. It can also improve milk production and fat content in dairy cows. However, cottonseed cake may also contain gossypol, a toxin that can affect animal health and reproduction. Therefore, cottonseed cake should be fed with caution and in moderation to avoid toxicity. Cottonseed cake can also be used for other purposes, such as biogas production through anaerobic digestion, organic fertilizer for crops, or mushroom cultivation substrate.
